Marsha worked at the YMCA of Metropolitan Washington for more than 10 years prior to joining DCC in 2014. During her time as Associate Executive Director for the YMCA, she was responsible for leading teams in program management, business, human resources, marketing, special events, volunteering, senior services, and facilities and properties. At DCC, Marsha leads administration, accounting, human resources, and operations planning.
As an experienced communications strategist, marketing advisor, and copywriter, Jennifer partners with clients to develop and implement communications initiatives that support key business objectives. Over her 20-year career, she has advised professional and industry associations, nonprofits, Fortune 500 companies, and professional services firms.
Prior to joining DCC, Jennifer was the director of marketing and communications for a 500-attorney, AmLaw 100 global law firm in Washington, DC, and was communications and PR manager for a 200-attorney regional law firm with offices in Washington and Minneapolis,
She previously was a senior communications specialist for one of the largest pediatric hospitals in the country and held a variety of copywriting and communications roles for a Fortune 500 financial services organization.
Jennifer has earned honors from the International Association of Business Communicators; the Legal Marketing Association; and the Association of Women in Communications. She also was honored by Minnesota Lawyer for legal marketing excellence. She has a B.A. from Gustavus Adolphus College.
As a senior associate at DCC, Tophe is involved in every facet of client work, including client engagement, project management, writing and editing, media relations, media monitoring, grassroots advocacy campaigns, and social media strategy and content.
Before joining DCC, Tophe worked at Broadreach PR, a boutique strategic communications firm in Portland, Maine, and at BCW in Washington, DC, where he worked with the Direct Impact practice to execute hyperlocal grassroots campaigns for their clients. He also previously worked on Nadia Hashimi's congressional campaign in Maryland and in the office of U.S. Rep. Chellie Pingree (D-ME), his hometown member of Congress.
Residing in Portland, Maine, Tophe earned his bachelor’s degree in Communication, Legal Institutions, Economics, and Government (CLEG) and Public Relations & Strategic Communications from American University.
